Peugeot 407 Coupe: Problem with trunk door - Help plz...

Hi,

I have a problem with my beloved Peugeot 407 Coupe.
The trunk cannot be opend with the button in the "0" of the label "407", but only with the button at the remote key.
All settings in on-board computer are correct, I checked this at first.

Any ideas, any hints???
Your help is very welcome!

PS: please pardon my english, I'm a German...

Hi, sorry I am using google translation, c is the electric wire between the trunk and the body, the wire is cut into the bellows

I've heard about this wire problem, but I thought this could not be the problem of my car, because I still can open the trunk with the button at the remote key.
I thought this is the same wire for the button in the "0" of 407 and the button at the remote key - or do they use different wires?

If the wire is cut, how can I fix this?
Which parts of my 407 Coupe do I have to remove to get to cutted wire?

hi the wire that drives the demand opening is cut in the trunk bellows
when you do it with the remote control is the bsi that directly controls the lock

Hi @all!

Thank you all for your help!

I repaired it by myself yesterday.

The grey wire was cut!
I have soldered the wire together with a short piece of new wire.

Now all works fine again :-)
