The internet connection is NOT necessary, but having a Network card with propper drivers is necessary..
Also after 7.60, you need Microsoft .NET 3.5 SP1 installed (.NET 4.xx will NOT do)
You can run DiagBox in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode and or as Administrator (depending on which 32 bit Windows you are running).
I assume you are have Hard Disk controller in the BIOS set to IDE or Legacy.
