The version reflected in your DiagBox is in C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\version.ini, which is not changed by this update. If you wish to change it, edit it manually to read:
[APPLICATION]
Version=07.835

I don't know why did it go wrong for you after 8.35, I hope you will be successful next time. but make sure your network connection is disabled.
