Terminal 5 to ground, turn on ignition, and you should get 12V.

Terminal 5 to 4 ignition still on should be 0 volt. Any higher reading means the ICM needs to be replaced.

To test dwell, connect a dwell meter terminal 1, remove the green lead to ICM terminal TD and ground and you should get 7-25 degrees. If higher, replace ICM. Crank engine for this test.

With an ohmmeter, check resistance of terminal 7 and 3 which should give you 600 to 100 ohms. If higher, check leads to distributor and ICM.
