Hi to all,
According to me, the best multi-purpose tool is one that works with the carmakers own softwares. You have to find the one that best fits your needs.
Multi-brand proprietary tools will never reach all the functionality of the ******* tools because of the manufacturer policies.
So my advice to work with a tool compatible with D-PDU and J2534 API (at least for recent cars) and keep using cheap clones for old cars.
