Let me add one more thing, those engines often had problems with the crankshaft sensor, which was not reported as faulty during the anomaly. The problem is that impurities and small metal chips accumulate on the sensor, and thus it gives the wrong signal to the ECU unit, if that signal is too distorted there is no chance of starting the engine. The most common solution is to thoroughly clean and degrease the crankshaft sensor. It costs nothing.
