Oil Level Warning Bmw e46

Hi friends

I have a bmw e46, 2000. I've modified the miles and dashboard works OK. Recently, sometimes the oil level warning turns on. I've checked the oil level and is OK.
Through dashboard diagnostic it appears the following error:

CAN; difference in data storage for LZV.

My question is: could it be because the miles do not match with the data in the EWS module.
