tuto!!!show you how to find the switch :) DPF at this one EDC17 ECU

here we go guys!!! http://www.mhhauto.com/images/smilies/smile.gif me again cool

diesel particulate filter (DPF) switching EDC17 ECU

before turning off the function DPF in ECU you need to decide what to do about the hardware installed on the car. The hardware is the DPF / Catalyst and wiring / sensors

Options.
1. Look original. Remove DPF / catalyst. Case open and empty inside. Refit. Leave all original sensors and wiring place. In some countries this may be the only option permitted.
:13:

2. New tube. Remove DPF / catalyst and replace it with a hose.

2a. Keep sensors and wiring

2b. Remove the sensors and wiring.

If you remove the sensors and wiring you can get the error codes and even a warning dashboard. These will need to file encoding ECU.

Do not tear the DPF yet. Some files ECU become very upset if you try to delete a file DPF solution when the DPF is already
comprehensive reporting and failed regeneration. It is recommended to always make a forced regeneration before touching the DPF or file ECU.

What if the forced regeneration is not working? http://www.mhhauto.com/images/lina/fing20.gif

You may need to remove the DPF and soak it in something like detergent for alloy wheels for a day or so.
Rinse with warm water, if possible. Reinstall and try again forced regeneration.

Do not install a DPF OFF file before the hardware has been solved

Lined with hardware you are ready to edit the file ECU.

As usual the information here is based on using WinOLS!!!oh yeah BB to review and edit the file.

The file below has been opened in a 16-bit decimal (255), view Lohi.
1. Set the view to the text.

2. Open 'Search' and then look for the sequence of bytes decimal (decimal tab)

3. Enter 4081, 00015 Click the right arrow button or the Enter key.
The point of view should be similar;

You will not see the highlight yellow. I added that.
Will be highlighted addresses to 04 081 and 00015. (gray in this example). This sequence usually occurs only once in a
file so you should be in the right place.

4. Make sure you have a minimum of 14 columns in the view and move the selected two addresses to the starting line, as shown above.
(1ED0E6).

5. Many files look exactly like the view above.

For example,

04081 00015 32767 0003 04000 00001 00000 00000 00001 02800 32767 00200 32768 32767

It is important to see this whole line because the switch DPF is not always exactly the same address in all files ECU.

In 16-bit vista decimal switch DPF is
00001. In this example you can see that this happens twice. es

04081 00015 32767 0003 04000 00001 00000 00000 00001 02800 32767 00200 32768 32767

In many file switch DPF 00001 is followed by 02800 so the switch is the second DPF 00001.
Another clue is that the switch DPF 00001 is usually close and left of the sequence, 32768, 32767.

NOTE: If the 04 081, 00 015 research does not help. Search 32768, 32767, instead.

The correct position of the DPF is highlighted in yellow on the picture above.

By changing the value
00001-00000 turns off all functions DPF *

For those who like 2D view. This is the image text above in 2D view.

In this picture the yellow highlight DPF address has been changed to a red vertical bar.

As you can see, the position switch DPF is not apparent when viewing in 2D mode.

* This really works? It really turned off when the DPF
00001 is changed in 0000?

EDC16 ECU with the single switch should disable all functions DPF. With EDC17 ECU some people have reported
problems after using the single switch.

Reported problems are usually because;

1. They have ignored the advice 'regeneration DPF before'

or

2. They have removed the sensors and sensor defects / errors

or

3. A part of the function DPF is still ongoing, with the switch set to OFF DPF.

If you have ripped the DPF and sensors and wiring without restoring the state of regeneration of the DPF before you are in trouble :smokin: and need professional help. http://cartechnology.co.uk/images/smilies/learen.gif

If part of the regeneration process is still running it will probably be 'Post Injection'.

Setting maps 'post injection' zero should cure this.

NOTE:

There are EDC17 ECU with a file layout very different from the one indicated above. The same search procedure DPF will work, but you may have different areas and different possible options. These files need a degree of trial and error.

Merci pour ton partage Mourad !
Cependant cela ne fonctionne pas avec un EDC17C10 PSA , je trouve la sequence 32768 32767 mais pas l'autre , la sequence 32768 32767 ne me permet pas de trouver le switch , une solution ?
