AL4 Programming

Hi There,
Does any one know how to connect to the AL4 ECU?? and what is the tool needed.
Regards,, Simple.

The car has done 160000 km, and the AL4 is supposed to be maintenance free. I changed the transmission oil last night and it very dark.
Now the car shifts through the gears much smoother.

I have a generic Bluetooth OBDII adapter, I can reset codes using it. Is it possible to reset the Oil Change counter as well, using it?

You don't tell witch type of your car.
Here's a manual way to reset the counter of oil change for c2 or c3, but you can find another video if you have a different type

Sorry,
Having entered this data in may posts, I feel I have over done it, but then you are right.

Well, I have watched the attached video, it is about the engine oil. I need to reset the oil change counter for the Gearbox.

I found this post in french:

They say that this reset must be done by Citroën themselves, or you must buy the interface to acces the reset option

@ Mike H,
Thanks, the link has been removed. However, I think you may be referring to a Lexia 3 device. I have ordered one already and I hope to be able to do this.
Now I need a repository to download the ECU firmware so that I can update them.
Thanks again, Simple.

Effectively, I don't remember this rule of the forum. I'll never put a direct line to another forum on an answer @diagnosis29 :13:

You're right for your answer, the only way to reset is an interface, like the Lexia.
I've seen that this problem often happens on an automatic C8.
At the begin, it's enough to turn off the engine, wait a few moment...
But later, you're in the problem. They also talk about E/V witch also can made a problem with this car

Simple 26/08/2014 02h20

Currently I don't have a problem, but I wish to avoid having one. Hence the order of Lexia 3 tool.
By the way, it took me sometime to understand the difference between the various clones.
