SAGEM S3000 virging

Hi,

My car started having issues and it was diagnosed with a faulty ECU. Renault dealer wants 600GBP in order to change the ECU! The car is Renault Megane II 1.6 16v 2005 K4M760 Engine.
It was pretty easy to find cheap secondhand ECUs with same part number (Renault Engine ECU S3000 21584288-2A 8200321263 8200387138) on eBay.
But I'm aware it won't work with my car out of the box and it need to be decoded and set to virgin (self-programming) state.
I decided to try virging the secondhand ECU myself so it work with my car..
What equipment/software should I have? I searched the web and found some information about MPPS.. But anyway.. I'm a newbie.. Your advice is appreciated :)
I already own a Renault CAN CLIP capable of programming/reprogramming..

Thank you for your reply.
Which eeprom? Can you get a picture or instructions of how to find it? As I can see the board of the ECU has many chips..

This is the board of the ECU

BTW, I've read somewhere that the data from the original ECU can be read (Using eeprom programmer) and then transferred to the new - secondhand - ECU without the need to desolder and resolder the chips.. I'd be glade if you can provide more information about this.

Thanks :)
Is there any side effects of moving my current 95160 chip to the secondhand ECU and running the car with it?
Is there any way of moving data from the current ECU to the new secondhand one without the need to desolder and resolder it again? If yes, what equipment should I need? I would be glade if you provide more information :)

I didn't understand correctly.. Did you mean that the soldering process is safer than eeprom programming? I'm trying to use the programming method so I don't make damage to my original eeprom chip while desoldering and resoldering..

BTW, What do you think about CarProg kit? Is it suitable for the mission I'm trying to accomplish? It has a SOIC8 Clip Cable..

If you have any suggestions about different programming kit I'd appreciate that..
