DiagBox v7.77 update
 

Hello All,
I have DiagBox v7.77 working on the following platform: HP ENVY-M6, Intel i5, 8GB RAM, 1TB Hard Drive, running Windows 10 64bit (10547). DiagBox v7.77 is installed on Windows 10 x86 (10547) which is running on VMware Desktop 12 Pro.

I was surprise that it was easy to upgrade and make it run!!!, so I will perform some tests to see if it is fully functional before further writing on this matter.

Initial readings I got are similar to all previous versions... including the "Communication problem, in DB07.jpg" which I get (with all versions) every time I try to erase Injection Faults (only)... It seems a lot of people have faced this issue. Some are saying it is a fuse others are saying it is a loose connector. If someone has met this problem and solved it; feedback is appreciated...

DiagBox v7.77 => Lexia Softwae Version= 500.71 & Lexia Interface Firmware = 4.3.3 (.NET 3.5 is needed, run as Administrator or XP compatibility)

Procedures to upgrade to DiagBox v7.77.
Please notice that this is intended for educational purposes and that you perform any or all the below at your own risk and I hold no responsibility for any issue you may face.

Procedure 1 (From the internet):
1- Go to C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\ and create another copy of cashe folder naming it cashe.Org
2- Run DiagBox and click on upgrade, after successful download close the application.
3- Run DiagBox it will start the upgrade process and when run for the first time, it will give 6 or 7 error message, keep klicking ok until DiagBox closes down.
4- Go back to C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\ and delete the folder cashe and rename cashe.org to cashe
5- Run DiagBox and it will run successfully.

Procedure 2 (Local upgrade):
1- Go to C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\ and create another copy of cashe folder naming it cashe.Org
2- Download the attached file, Expand it and copy the contents of the updt_77 to C:\AWRoot\dtwr\updt\ directly replacing and overwriting existing files and folders
3- Run DiagBox, it will start the upgrade process, when it finishes successfully click ok, it run for the first time and will give 6 or 7 error message, keep klicking ok until DiagBox closes down.
4- Go back to C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\ and delete the folder cashe and rename cashe.org to cashe
5- Run DiagBox and it will run successfully.

If you like to try newer file versions:
3- When you receive the first error message in point 3, DiagBox creates 28 new files in the cashe folder copy this folder into a folder named cashe.cpy, because the contents of the original cashe folder get deleted after the crash. Continue to click on the error message until diagBox closes.
4- Now, copy into the (empty) cashe folder the 13 files that start with fr.actia.AWF.xxxxxxx.dll from the cashe.org and all other files from cashe.cpy.
5- Run DiagBox and it will run successfully.

If you don’t like update 7.77 or you have an issue with it. Run Maitresox’s 7.75 to 7.76 again and it will successfully downgrade it to DiagBox v7.76.
