Renault Espace Wiring
 

Hi
I had an Espace 1.9dci 120hp for some time, found and bought a fully equiped 2.2dci from the scrapyard.

I started moving parts from the 2.2 to the old one
- Sun roof
- steering wheel with cruise control
- windshield with heliomatic diming mirror and rainsensor
- rear parking sensors
- electric adjustable seats
and others

for these to work i took the whole interior apart and replaced the old wiring with the new one

- the car wouldn't start with the now card reader (also changed the steering column with the blocker, and the inside ECUs)
so i swithed back the ECU an the steering column and the card reader.

it started fine
except my dash is like a christmas tree
Can't connect TEXA diagnostic toll to it (waiting for a Renault Can CLIP to arrive...)
ABS, ESP, Parking, Airbag lights are on, the car runs ok
Cruise Control activeted itself and works (this should not work if ECU cant reed wheele speed sensors...)

Anything would help...

Sorry forgot to mention

the 2.2dci was an A/T
did not use enginebay ECU and A/T shifter

when i used the new ECUs andpressed START red LED was blinkin
perhaps it was because the A/T shifter was not present and it did not read it in the P position

also with the new wiring the headlamps don't work (the 2.2 had xenon, did not change the headlamp wiring yet and so the old ones are still on)
