there are variouses sollutions...depends of your pcb...need to post a photo with high resollution of yours

I have Kess V2 clone and K-line works perfect, with a lot of cars.
Have you checked and dismount obd2 conector and male conector off kess?
Mybe some wire is not soldered, I found some tools with this mistake.

for rework the PCB of clone kess for good working k-line,and boot mode edc17,without problems for hot pcb,i posted for free the solution on my site (i can"t post here the name)
for update kess clone from old fw to fw 4.036 i can do by teamwiever...other infos by PM
