j'ai rajouter un disque ide a vmware (moin de problèmes avec un ide)
mais il est invisible sous vmware dans le poste de travail ?
alors qu'il existe maintenant dans la configuration ?...étrange ?

Click on VM --> Settings --> Click on Hard Disk (SCSI) now in the Bottom click on Remove..

Now click on Add.. Choose Hard Disk --> Next --> IDE --> Next ... Now choose "Use Existing Virtual Drive".. Browse to the ""xxxx.VMDK file and finish...

The VMware file is in:
C:\Users\your_user\Documents\Virtual Machines\Win-name\

Change "your_user" and "Win-name" to your names

Don't delete the existing .VMDK file.
Just delete all Hard Disk controllers and perform the process I told you in the previous post.
You need to use the same .VMDK file where you installed DiagBox. Just load it again, but as IDE this time.

Pour que ca fonctionne avec vmware il faut que le disque principal soit en ide. Dans ton cas il est en scsi. Il te faut donc supprimer le disque scsi en créer un en ide et réinstaller ta machine. Le fait de rajouter un deuxième disque en ide ne règle pas le problème. Si tu ne le vois pas c' est qu' il n' est peut être pas formaté.

I wrote the instructions step by step for you, why did you not follow them?

Now explain what you did (in details) to see if anything can be recovered..

I simply erase the disk scsi ide disk was present so I thought we should clear the scsi drive, I have done nothing

Did you follow the instructions only, or did you do something extra?
How did you erase it? can you write a full answer; if you need a helpful reply!

je vais te répondre en francais ,comme cela si quelqun a eu ce problème ,il pourrait participé ou...si quelqun aura ce soucis ,il profitera de "l'expérience".

pour en revenir a mon problème ,j'ai juste fait clic droit et (dans l'interface Vmware edit machine VM) et effacé le disque scsi , c'est tout.

If you only deleted the controller, you can recover your disk...

can you check if the file is in:
C:\Users\your_user\Documents\Virtual Machines\Win-name\

VM est installé sur la partition D: (pas C:)

simple a réussi a me récuperer ma partition vmware !!

juste pour rapporté mon expérience d'installation de diagbox.

l'installation est parfaitement possible sous Vmware ,je suis sous windows 7 64bits
la meilleur façon de faire l'installation est de créer une VM avec Vmware mais attention lors de la création de cette VM bien configurer un disque IDE sinon , erreur " 0 " !!
donc une VM avec windows 7 et disque IDE ,car VMware installe d'office un scsi.
test de la VCI sous Vmware (sans véhicule pour l'instant) test réussi
(test hardware avec psa checker)

I am glad it has worked for you, and I hope that the VCI will work well when you receive it..
May I add that it is beneficial to install the complete VMware Tools (for VMware Player) as many of the drivers are included in them, and it could also be cleaner if you install the VMware disk as one file NOT multiple.
