I would appreciate if the site Administrator would change the thread title from v8.37 to v8.38 and attach the file "APP_Update _835-838.txt" to the first post.

Please add this paragraph as well:

APP_Update_835-838.EXE should be attempted if you have a working "APP-835.7z" implementation or APP-8.37 upgrade. It will update Lexia and PP2000 to versions 500.74 and 600.80 respectively, with latest fixes and support level.

DiagBox has either tried to connect and blocked the software or files were not over written properly due to the processes were not all killed before the update process.

Disconnect the network, restore your APPDIAG.SYS and start DiagBox again as Administrator.

When I restart diagbox I have an error message now missing .dll ect
Tomorrow I reinstalled the update to see if everything comes back ok

Hi nikita,
can you give more information about your installation, maitresox reported that update 8.38 fail to upgrade DiagBox systems installed on Windows XP!!

However, Some errors will result in deleting the contents of the "C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\cache" folder, if that has happened, DiagBox will fail to start. Ensure you have at least the 13 files starting with "fr.actia.AWF.xxxx.dll".

If that has happened to you, then download the "Cache Contents Restorer" (a link is available in the attachment within the DiagBox 8.01 Installation (updated) post).

Users already reported successful upgrade to v8.38, but they complain that DiagBox version number does not change. Please notice that this is an upgrade to Lexia and PP2000 and not DiagBox. Hence DiagBox version will NOT be changed as a result of this upgrade.

moi je suis sur W7 32 bits et comme la mentionner plus maitresox les nouvelles mises a jours avec XP c'est fini

Apres installation de la mise a jour j'ai un message d'erreur au démarrage qui me dit que java n'est pas disponible pour lancer l'application sim, pas de machine virtuelle trouvé dans jre7/bin
quelqu’un pour une solution?

Salut, tu peux désinstaller et recommencé l'ami...

J'ai eu la même erreur récemment car j'ai formater mon pc et réinstaller . J'ai eu ce message.
J'ai re désinstaller et recommencé, et maintenait c'est ok.
C'est les joies de l'informatique !
