Lexia & PP2000 update 8.50-8.55 (DiagBox v8.55)

The software provided and the procedures proposed are intended for personal, educational and experimental use to install DiagBox 8.xx related updates. I hold no responsibility for any illegal or improper usage. Carry out this procedure at your own risk.

Link is provided in the attachment for "APP_Update_850-855.exe". This is intended to update Lexia and PP2000 components of DiagBox 8.50, 8.53 or 8.54 to 8.55.

Procedure:
1- Ensure you have a backup copy of the file "C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\APPDIAG.SYS" before you start.
2- Download and execute the appropriate file for your own setup. The process will copy all necessary files to the updt folder, it will then automatically kill all DiagBox associated processes to enable overwriting without conflicts.
3- Run DiagBox to start the update process and wait until DiagBox is operational. Close DiagBox and restart your computer to ensure all processes are running.

Done..! you may run DiagBox as usual.. Notice that DiagBox version will change to 07.855 after the update..

Worked after a bit of messing

Some reason my v7.83 had jre and not jre7 in the c\:APP\bin

It failed to load SIM after updates 817 to 837

I deleted the jre folder and made new folder jre7 in that location

Then loaded java 7 to that location and the SIM then loaded fine

Bonjour,
merci pour cette update pack.

la mise à jour s'est bien effectuée (diagbox 7.855 affiché), par contre en analysant les fichiers, j'ai l'impression que tout n'est pas mis à jour:
dans C:\AWRoot\dtwr\updt\Appli\Extract\MajListe on retrouve les 3 updates non décompressées.
et si je regarde un fichier d'un calculateur de véhicule au hasard provenant de ces archives, je ne le retrouve pas dans mon arborescence
exemple:
C:\AWRoot\dtwr\updt\Appli\Extract\MajListe\inter8_ 55.rar
contient AWRoot\dtrd\tree\Vehicle\W2\AAS\AAS_UDS\W2_AAS_AAS _UDS_VARIANTE_CALCULATEUR.s, 38044 octets, date 12/09/2017 15:17
dans mon arborescence C:\AWRoot\dtrd\tree\Vehicle\W2\AAS\AAS_UDS\ le fichier en question date toujours du 24/06/2015 et fait 22543 octets

je me trompe peut-être... mais peux tu quand même vérifier la bonne exécution de cette update ?

En complément:
j'ai fait une analyse avec un comparateur de fichiers (WinMerge) entre l'arborescence de diagbox 8.55 (7.855) et le dossier updt\MAJDIST contenant les 3 archives inter8_53,54,55 décompressés.
Il en ressort une grande différence de fichiers non à jour et/ou manquants.

Est-ce normal ?
Est-ce que @Simple pourrait corriger ?

En 2ème complément:
J'ai discuté avec @Simple à propos de ces update pack: En fait il ne s'occupe que de mettre à jour la partie PP2000/Lexia.
Il ne s'occupe pas de la partie Diagbox car il n'en a pas l'utilité (son véhicule personnel n'est que sous PP2000/Lexia).
Donc lorsque l'on exécute ses packs, bien que la version de Diagbox soit incrémentée, cela ne met pas à jour les fichiers que Diagbox utilise.

Donc peut-être que @MaitreSox ou une autre personne compétente pourrait se pencher sur ces mises à jour pour Diagbox... ?

MaitreSox ne fait plus les mises à jour depuis un moment pour cause revente de ses updates .
