Diagbox blues : C3 II 2009 (KFV TUJ3A)

Bonjour tout le monde,

VCI Chinois

1) le but est de pouvoir télécoder un Valéo J34P sur une Citroen C3 II 1.4l essence de 2009 (KFV) moteur JP3A
- Installation V7.01 (scary) -> V7.02 (les 4 onglets dans diagbox sont bien présents)
Connexion sur véhicule : VIN reconnu, OPR entré mais aucune communication avec les équipements (BSI, ECU, ...)
- MAJ V7.xx-V7.57
Connexion sur véhicule : VIN reconnu, OPR entré mais aucune communication avec les équipements (BSI, ECU, ...)

Bon après j'ai essayé les MAJ (maitresox) 7.57 vers 7.58, mais là y a psaAgent qui a été fermé, idem pour MAJ 7.58 vers 7.62, et j'ai plus les 4 onglets dans diagbox : manquent Documentation et Rapports

The question :
Quelle version de diagbox faut-il pour faire un diag (on va commencer par le début avant de télécoder) sur cette C3 II de 2009 ?

Question subsidiaire :
Si vous avez des idées pour ce pb de psaAgent.exe qui a été fermé ...

You did not say if your installation is on a Laptop or a Virtual Machine, and which one? VMware or VirtualBox?

You did not mention what else is installed on the computer as well?

Ensure you have Microsoft .Net 3.51 installed and you run DiagBox as Administrator.

For the PSA agent, this usually occurs on VirtualBox. Follow the instructions for adding a "System Serial" explained here:

You're right it is a VirtualBox. Fresh Win XP SP3 32bits install (no other software).
.net framework 3.5 SP1 installed before Diagbox
Java 8 installed before Diagbox

I entered the laptop S/N in VirtualBox machine configuration using your guide and now : no psaAgent error anymore, the 4 tabs are well there. Thanks again !

But, despite Diagbox can retrieve the car VIN, there is no dialog when trying to launch a single diagnostic.

Please remove Java 8.

DiagBox 7.xx installs Java 6 and DiagBox 8.xx installs Java 7 automatically.

Note: You umay have to change the Java path in the enviornment.

Enter the car's RPO manually, if all goes well, continue upgrading.

Simple.

I forgot to say, it may be helpful to install VC++ 2008 (described in the thread posted above) and Internet Explorer 8 32 bit for XP (you need to download).

Well,
Restarted with the virgin XP, removed Java8, only .net 3.5 SP1 installed (along with all drivers and VB Guest additions).
It turns out that Citroen is calling a C3 II a C3 R (revisited) in Lexia.
Using V7.57 with the right model selection allows all diagnostics as communication with car is OK !
I'll continue updates (I make a snapshot at each update to come back easily) and let you know !
