Peugeot 206 immo
Hi i have a peugeot 206 1.4 51plate came in with non starting due to ecu failure
i changed the ecu,bsi and decoder ring but i didn't have the pod for the key. Originally the fuel pump wouldn't operate as the ecu was not working the parts were from a donor car but the keys were away pump operates fine now but must be immobilized as pod wont match My question is can i bypass immo to check it will run or do i need to have it reprogrammed or which diagnostic machine can i use to get it running Thanks for any help |
hi,
first you need to give us a diag report, then after it will be easy to find the solution, give me the ref for ecu to tell you if possible to bypass immo or not ! |
Thanks for your reply i will look at the motor on Monday i have a Autocom i will try and read the codes with that i also have a Lexia 3 but have never managed to get it to connect to a car since i bought it
I installed all the software (Diagbox 5.29) as i was told i cant use any higher software every time i used it said it there was no communication It all lights up correctly so i dont know whats wrong with it Thanks |

Check com lines from/to ecu. Without com it just can't start.

Hi sorry to keep repeating Lexia 3 (revision c) arrived today plugged it into Peugeot 206 no communication with ECU tried Citroen Xsara Picasso same result green light flashes 4 times then solid if i unplug it then connect again it will see the ECU for about 10 seconds then no communication again. This is the second VCI i have bought with the same results. The latest one is supposed to have full chip and original octocuplers
Can it be a software issue or is it another defective unit Thanks for any pointers |
Some psa cars when ecu is locked you can not diagnose that module.First you must make keys or match to bsi, then check can-van lines from bsi to ecu and power supply from bsm module to ecu.
|
you must to know the pin code from ECU...then virginize BSI (ALL eeprom must to be FFFFFFF)...then recodem bsi with VIN and pincod finded on ecu, recode keys, and voila

I had simillar problem, Those cars have NEC BSI , and usualy water get inside and damage data in nec or HW. reset new BSI and adapt keys. |
The problem i have is that i still can't get any dialogue with any ECU i am sick of the seller telling me to try older software or other ways but still no connection i have asked the seller for a replacement board for the VCI but still waiting on a reply
If i unplug it i get it to work for about 10 seconds (relays click) then for it to read anything else i have to unplug then in at the usb then it stops again I have even installed Lexia 3-45 and PP2000 in another laptop with a fresh install of XP Thanks for any help |
