plantage diagbox apres udate 8.38 ?

salut a tous.

un soucis avec diagbox, il fonctionnait tres bien jusqu'a ce que je décide de faire la mise a jour 8.37 ver 8.38 !!

(avec le fichier mise a jour 8.35/8.38...Simple)

il était en 8.17 , je l'avais passé en 8.37 ,mai il affichait 8.17 (alors que je suppose qu'il était en 8.37) , car pas de soucis lors de la mise a jour 8.37...

mais en faisant la mise a jour vers 8.38 ,
(avec le fichier mise a jour 8.35/8.38...Simple)
impossible de le lancer apres, reboot ,il affiche toujours
la mise a jour internet s'est mal déroulé ! ?..

une idée ? merci

Try killing all DiagBox processes and repeat the installation then reboot the computer and see what happens.
Also, check your version.ini and ensure you have version=07.817

Diagbox reste en 8.17
Lexia se mets à jour en 500.74
PP2000 se mets à jour en 600.80

alors...je vais être un peux plus clair. (c'est vrais que cela a pu paraitre confus)

j'étais en diagbox version 7.xx (sauvegardes ect...)
j'ai suivi le tuto de Simple et je suis passé a la version 8.17
cette version fonctionnait parfaitement , puis mise a jour vers 8.37
reboot et relance de diagbox ,mise a jour réussis vers 8.37 ,mais diagbox affiche 8.17 ! ?.. mais diagbox fonctionnait.
jusqu'a ce que je tente une mise a jour vers 8.38 avec le ficher Simple (8.35/8.38) la , il y'a eu le problème.
apres avoir tenté milles et une choses pour résoudre le problème y compris celles proposé plus haut , rien n'y a fait !

j'ai alors remis en service ma version 7.82 (sauvegarde)
maintenant Diagbox en version 7.82 fonctionne parfaitement , je vais gardé cette version et oublié la "8"

question : pourquoi cette version dite..."8" ? , et ma version actuelle 7.82 correspond a quelle version en "8.xx" ?

I know that these updates work; they worked for me and many others. I don't know what you have done or forgotten to do such that it did not work. But keep in mind that for a successful file copying over the originals, processes need to be killed, and for a successful operation of DiagBox, they need to be working.

In many cases with software issues, the problem is behind the keyboard!! try again..

That is, the 7.83 corresponds to which version in 8.xx?

And why versions in 8.xx?

DiagBox v7 final release was v7.77, and DiagBox v8.01 corresponds with v7.65, you can find this information here:

But DiagBox 8 had newer engines (probably to enable new functions and remote services which will be introduced later). Another change was at 7.72/8.08, where the locale coding standard was changed from 2 chr$ to 5. This is why changing language from the menu does not work, I have explained this in one of the posts last year.

DiagBox 7.83 corresponds to 8.19, which I released for DiagBox 7 last year. But in the case of DiagBox 8, I stopped at 8.17 because this is the level where I could use the full ******* updates without removing anything from the original files. The same applies to the APP_8.17-8.42 updates, they are all full updates with nothing removed.

If you install 8.01 and update 8.02 and I think up to 8.10 (as far as I remember), you can use (relevant) maitresox updates to reach 7.83/8.19. Because all updates from 7.67/8.03 are ******ly identical.

Ok, i just updated 7.82 -> 7.83, i will keep this version
Because I have no problem with 7.xx versions.
Too much risk of crashes with versions 8.xx
